I did hear a nice story I wanted to share with you: a friend of ours lost her partner last month in a climbing accident, and soon she is having surgery to have a possibly cancerous lump removed from her breast. This has been a very difficult time for her. She didn't stay until the end of the show and I thought maybe she didn't like it (though, how could that possibly be?) Anyway, she called me the next day to say that your and & Tawny's music was healing for her soul. That it felt as good as the cleansing rain that made everything clear and brought life to the mountains. That your playing and your songs and melodies were so beautiful. Carlos, I am humbled by that beautiful gift that your music gave to someone who is a very good person, and is hurting right now. It truly brought healing to her. You guys are awesome!
